Let some of my Harry Potter studio photos take you on the tour :) *Can you recognize the photos from the scenes in the movie? :)*
One of the smaller scale models. Apparently they used a lipstick camera to "navigate" through the rooms so the production team knows which camera angles work best for the film.
The Yule Ball. Who wore what?
I had to shoot this on instagram yesterday. It was so beautiful!
Faux chocolates. It felt like Easter :)
Hagrid's hut was actually built and shot in Scotland!
Outdoors, you find Privet drive and the Night Bus among other things.
Oh yes grab some butter beer while you are outdoors :) My kids didn't enjoy it as much but I loved it-- butter beer is cream soda, at least I thought it tasted like is :)
And the piece de resistance on the 2nd studio is this:
Almost a full scale model which took months to construct and complete! It was really incredible! As my friend had said, JK Rowling may have had the imagination to have created Harry Potter and everything else in the book, but it took incredible artists to translate her words into visuals this impressive. It was really something that made us all drop our jaws in awe.
The Harry Potter Studio Tour is worth every penny-- especially if you have little ones (or young at hearts) who loved the movies. Incredible journey this had been!
