Bag Review: The Fashion Foie Gras x Coach tote!

I am always so excited to hear about blogger collaborations with big designer brands. It really validates the fact that bloggers now play a key role in the fashion (and retail) industry. First it was Bag Snob x DKNYicon, and the result of that collaboration was incredible-- swarms of women and men rushed to pre-order the bags, and when the bags first hit Net-A-Portericon, they were sold out within minutes! The bag's been restocked a few times since then.

So when iconic American brand Coach announced their collaboration with Emily Johnston of Fashion Foie Gras (which happens to be one of the blogs I read), I was elated! Emily has been a fan of the brand for quite some time so together with the Coach design team, they created a bag that was  functional, chic, and contemporary.

The result was this stylish tote which could very well be a fashion blogger's best friend-- because there is not only that special padded compartment that holds a digital SLR camera,

there is also another one to store a pair of very comfy flat shoes (I swear this is really necessary if you don't plan on nursing bruises and blisters all over your feet if you attend fashion weeks of different cities).

The main body of the bag is made of natural canvas trimmed with leather, with those central vertical *racing* stripes in blue and white,  both dominant colors of the American and British flags. I think this bag is not only meant for a fashion blogger but also for someone who travels a great deal. It makes for a perfect travel tote and I love it!!

It's a classic!

The Fashion Foie Gras x Coach bag is available in Coach's flagship store in London at 41 New Bond Street, London, at £495. The bag is definitely well worth its price! :)
