Because of the suggestion of a twitter friend (goyolarrazabal), I decided to check out the Premium Outlets website. Initially I thought of driving us all to Petaluma. But then we always leave the house so late, so Petaluma's out. Instead, I chose Vacaville (which is laughable because it's actually just as far hahaha).
The Vacaville outlet houses Gucci, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors, DKNY, Lacoste, J.Crew, among other labels.

The signature MK tote seems more expensive here than at Off Fifth |
At Max Azria. These clutches are so nice in person, but wow, they're not really that cheap at all! I was expecting serious "outlet" prices, but they weren't marked down in the amounts I expected (haha I was hoping for dirt cheap. So there.)
I did however, end up with a very good bargain. A pair of my favorite DKNY espadrille wedges! The gold pailettes weren't exactly appealing initially, but this particular shoe style from DKNY is soooo comfortable I just had to have it. Priced at US$30 (marked down from $130!!)-- how can you say no? :D

Shining, Shimmering, Splendid DKNY wedges |
I was dressed in my "outlet best" hahaha (confession: outlet outfit yesterday meant : the only clean clothes I had. I had to do my laundry last night or I wouldn't have anything clean to wear today hahaha... Mom says everytime we're in the U.S. together, I end up living like a friggin' college student hahaha. Old habits die hard? *snicker* ).
Wore a striped H&M pullover, an old pair of navy skinny pants, and denim Tommy Hilfiger wedges *bought for less than US$35* (because I couldn't afford to buy the Valentino denim wedges *which have since sold out* at Net-A-Porter
hahaha). *Yes, yes, me and my wedges... tsk*

Proud to say that my total look yesterday cost me less than US$80. And mumsy said "it shows." LOL Gee thanks, Ma!! |
It's a glorious Sunday afternoon, and I suppose my kids and I are off to the Dollar Tree store. Yes! Dollar Tree :) . After that Celine bag purchase, the Dollar Tree seems to be the only store which won't make me feel like a pauper hehehe.*At this point, my kids actually have more $ than I do- I set a vacation allowance for each of them and they've been budgeting their money quite well. I hafta say, mama hog is mucho impressed :D*
Ok, it's set. Tomorrow, I'll post photos of the Celine bag that made me a pauper ;) LOL
